Cat LeBlanc - Founder/President
Cat LeBlanc has devoted more than thirty years to supporting media arts, music and creative education in New Brunswick. Beginning as a volunteer and later working in the film sector, she assists filmmakers with projects from development through production and distribution while helping coordinate training opportunities, workshops, and community film initiatives.
Cat also contributes to the broader arts community through volunteer leadership, serving on the board of the Writers’ Federation of New Brunswick and the Linda Joy Media Arts Society. She is the founder of the Jane LeBlanc Legacy Fund and works with its board and community partners to support mentorship, educational programming, and community arts learning opportunities.
Cat creates sound-based works for film and artistic projects and contributes to the development of creative work within the media arts community. Her contributions to the cultural sector have been recognized with honours including the CBC Pioneer Award at the Atlantic International Film Festival and the Wave Award recognizing leadership and contributions by women in film and media.

Tony Merzetti - Treasurer/Secretary
Tony Merzetti has dedicated more than forty years to supporting film creation, education, and community arts development in New Brunswick. Beginning as a volunteer, he now works as an arts administrator, helping expand opportunities for creators through training programs, mentorship, and cultural programming.
An award-winning cinematographer and educator, Tony teaches film at the University of New Brunswick and has contributed to numerous initiatives that support emerging and established filmmakers in the province. He also served on the board of the Fredericton Arts Alliance and is currently on the board of the Canadian Independent Screen Fund.
Tony’s long-standing contributions to arts leadership and community cultural development have been recognized with several honours, including the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal.

Donovan Richard - Board Director
Donovan Richard is a Moncton-based filmmaker who has been active in film production since 2003. Through his work in the film sector, he has contributed to the development of film culture and creative collaboration within New Brunswick.
Donovan has supported the broader arts community through volunteer leadership, serving on the board of the Writers’ Federation of New Brunswick and as an early board member of ArtsLink NB. He holds a BA with a specialization in History from the Université de Moncton.
His creative work has screened at film festivals locally and internationally, with one project broadcast regionally and nationally. With experience across more than 45 film productions as a producer, director, assistant director, and production manager, Donovan contributes his knowledge of the filmmaking process to initiatives that support filmmakers and creative learning in the province.

Maria Bourgeois - Board Director
Maria Bourgeois is a multidisciplinary artist working across theatre, writing, and music, whose creative practice often explores storytelling and collaboration within community settings. Her background includes theatre performance, direction, playwriting, and artistic creation across a range of mediums.
Maria also brings extensive experience in arts administration, project management, and arts education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Philosophy and a Fine Arts degree in Theatre with a major in Acting. Her artistic projects have included collaborations with theatre companies and community organizations across Atlantic Canada and beyond.
Her work has been recognized with the Arts and Letters Award in Newfoundland and Labrador, and since relocating to New Brunswick she has received several artist residencies and a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Silver Wave Film Festival.

Hope Maston - Board Director
Hope Maston is a community volunteer who has contributed to the arts sector through service on committees for a variety of arts organizations over the years. She has also supported creative initiatives and projects within the community.
With professional experience in human resources and nonprofit stewardship, Hope brings valuable knowledge in organizational support, governance, and community engagement to initiatives that strengthen and sustain the arts.
