Cat LeBlanc has been a community volunteer and staff member of the NB Film Co-op for 30 years. She coordinates the Co-op’s ongoing programming and activities and is a co-organizer of the Silver Wave Film Festival. Cat sits on the board for the Writers’ Federation of NB is a past board member of WIFT-AT, and Cat and her mother run the Jane LeBlanc Legacy Fund. Maureen LeBlanc is a retired school teacher based in Miramichi. She has dedicated her life to volunteering in her community and was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal.

Thanks to a generous contribution from TIFF Film Circuit Saint John, The Jane LeBlanc Legacy Fund has been give an endowment fund of $23,000. With TIFF Film Circuit Saint John’s support, awarded New Brunswick filmmakers will be able to hire and pay New Brunswick resident post-production specialists to take their film projects to the next level.

The long-time popular film series presented by TIFF Film Circuit Saint John, and sponsored by Crosby’s and Commercial Properties, moved its screenings to the Imperial Theatre in recent years.
