Matt Rogers is a co-owner of the production company, Frictive Pictures, Inc. With his partners he has produced eleven short films and seven short documentaries. In 2019, with funding from Telefilm Canada and provincial arts grants, Frictive Pictures produced its first feature film, Entropic (Dir. R.W. Gray). The film is currently available on various streaming services. Matt’s film work includes writing/directing, producing, cinematography, and educational documentary media. Since 2013 he has produced over 60 short educational documentaries with various organizations, including the NB Departments of Justice and Education and Early Childhood Development. Matt is also an Associate Professor in the UNB Faculty of Education. His research focuses on participatory arts-based methodologies and documentary filmmaking inquiry.
