Brittany Kerr is a Halifax-based producer, production accountant, and creative industries consultant. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Dalhousie University and thrives in the areas where art and commerce connect.
With a background in public accounting and commercial banking, she began her career in the entertainment industry as the production accountant on Ashley McKenzie’s debut feature, Werewolf. She has since worked on projects in all stages of production, including two years as the Director of Development for Holdfast Pictures Inc.
Brittany is currently developing a number of projects, both narrative and documentary, through her production company, Brass Door Productions Inc. She continues to provide production services in both accounting and production management and is engaged as a consultant for the Link Performing Arts Centre, a project set to create an 84,000 ft² arts and entertainment hub in the heart of downtown Halifax.
