JL New Brunswick Creative Award

Creative award for New Brunswick resident writer/directors and writers or directors in film and video who would like to further develop their creative skills. Included with the award is $1000 in In-kind Production or Post-Production services from the NB Film Co-op.

Eligible activities:

  • Mentorship with a professional writer/director.
  • Workshop & lab Intensives focused on writing/directing.
  • Purchase of screenwriting/directing software or other educational material.
  • Project costs.
  • Anything that furthers your development counts!

Submissions Guidelines

Bio or resume.

Letter explaining what you will use the award for including costs.

Letter from mentor confirming their involvement if applying for mentorship.
